Our Current Projects And The Things We Love

are the reclamation and restoration projects we do. We are always looking for all kinds of wood to turn into awesome finished items. We rescued these massive 75 plus year old hollow white oak tree that had recently blown down during a storm. We got them back to the shop, stripped off the bark  and then started brain storming what to do with them, and then it just happened. Chairs & side tables. We named them "The Lightning Strike Chairs. When we were sanding them out, we found the 1/2 inch deep black  line you see in the photos which turned out to be where lightning had hit the tree.
